What data do we collect from you?
Fonebak (www.Fonebak.com) is a website owned and operated by Regenersis Environmental Services Ltd that allows you to obtain money or donate to charity in exchange for your unwanted mobile phone. You can choose the 'Quick Donate' option to send us your device and the monetary value of the handset will be donated to BBC Children in Need. However, if you want to sell your device and receive money, you will need to complete a one time registration and log in during subsequent visits.
We collect the minimum data necessary to identify you as a Fonebak customer so that we can provide you with a cheque for the device you have sent in.
To register, we ask for your name, address, and email address as mandatory fields. This information is used for correspondence relating to your transaction. You will also be asked for some optional information which will assist us with improvements to the site. You will also be asked to create a password which you will use for future access to the website. On subsequent visits to Fonebak.com, you only have to log in using the username and password you supplied on registration.
How is this data used?
At the time of registration you will also be asked if you would like to receive information about news and special offers. Receiving email information from Fonebak is exclusively an 'opt-in' process meaning that you must give us consent to send it to you - otherwise we simply won't send it. We also use aggregate data of all participants in the programme for marketing and research analysis; however, we never include individual customer data in these reports. We never sell your information or provide it to a third party without your consent.
